This lock is easy to install, requiring no wiring or power installation. The combination can be set up easily. It does not lock automatically, which can be a pro or a con depending on your needs.
Slight adjustment to the door knob cutout may be needed to accommodate the width of the lock. The borehole cannot be less than 1-15/16". For double-bored standard doors, this lock must be installed on the above bore. The maximum borehole diameter is 2-1/8".
The lock is suitable for standard prepared doors with a wood or metal thickness of 35-50mm/1.38-1.96 inches. It can be used on both left/right-handed and inward/outward opening doors.
The lock is 100% mechanical (no risk of low battery) and features a stainless steel deadbolt (304) that is extra hard. You can use a passcode or a key to lock it, or both, making it very difficult to pry open. The stainless steel material and enhanced anti-corrosion surface treatment offer 5-15 times higher durability than zinc-based materials.
This lock can replace any lockset easily and neatly. The combination can be 4-8 digits (no repeats) with tumblers providing over 8,000 options. Please refer to the installation video for guidance, and note that the combination code can be used in any order.
